When Brent Wears was young, he met his wife, Donna, at an auction. After graduating from Solon High School, she started working as a clerk for her father’s auction business. Later, she attended the University of Wyoming and earned a degree in business management. She has also worked as a diner waitress and a leatherworker. The Wears family has been involved in the auction business for generations. Their family vacations involved attending the National Auctioneers Association Conference and Show.
In 2009, Emily Wears won a contest to become an auctioneer. She has since worked for several auction companies. She also has other interests, including fashion and music. She has also been awarded the title of International Auctioneer Champion. She continues to earn more honors throughout her career. Moreover, she has earned the Benefit Auctioneer Specialist designation from the Certified Auctioneers Institute and the Auction Technology Specialist designation from the National Auctioneers Association.
Emily Wears has been featured on season 10 of Storage Wars on A&E. She caught the eye of the producer while filming a segment at her father’s auction business. In addition, she has participated in honor choirs in elementary and middle school and continues to do so today. In high school, she participated in band guys and girls and went to Europe as a member of the Lowa Ambassadors of Music.
